Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents, who have a doctor for teeth and teacher in a school, supported and encouraged her early love for drama as well as theatre. Her initial dream to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. Her meteoric rise as an actress in her early years was swift and marked by her early successes. The beginning of her career came in 1999, after which she began acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou was a participant in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she's not Catholic. Alongside her acting career, Tautou pursued modelling and was the spokesperson of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. An avid photographer, she created a show at the Arles International Festival titled Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame as well as the fame. The exhibition also includes portraits of herself and particular focus on the media that has been watching Tautou's career since her dramatic rise in stardom after Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain.
