Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. In the age of thirteen Richard and his family relocated from Nebraska to Casper which was where his dad worked as head of Casper's U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
