Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actor who has appeared in a variety of television shows. She also excels in the world of film. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian and American TV. When Emily was 12 she became interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie while filming one of her film. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting she enrolled herself in classes for it and started to audition. Initially she bagged a few commercials and was soon selected for the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. At the age 15, she made her breakthrough as she was an actor on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's performance in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a dancer also a photographer, and was named among the top 20 Teen's actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her as number 51.
